Takuya Yoshida - a contemporary painter, from Tokyo, “Tak” describes his work as stemming from nature. It has a true appreciation for nature expressed with the fresh eyes of a former urban resident.

He has a very fluid style and takes his cue from some of natures more dramatic moments.

The fluidity of his style is due to the fact that he studied calligraphy in Japan, with Yuusenn Iino before beginning his studies here in the United States.

Just recently, Tak was a BFA recipient at Plymouth State University. Before his senior show began, several of his paintings sold to visiting faculty and dignitaries. Now he is getting MFA at New York Studio School.
